Slinky
June 4th, 2021 6:44 am
Slinky has been adopted into a wonderful family! We are so happy for this sweet little guy! Slinky is from 4-5 years old and an adorable little dachshund.  Slinky was picked up as a stray and we were never able to find his owners even though we were sure he had some.

Slinky is in a foster home where we have learned a lot about him. We believe he would do best with a couple or a person that is home most of the time. He suffers from severe separation anxiety when he is left home. He does good with kids but doesn't really like them. He would need a home with older children or none at all.

Slinky just completed his heart worm treatment, has been neutered, and is UTD on shots so he is ready to find his fur-ever home.

If interested in adopting him, please fill out an adoption application or message us for more information.

Magic
June 3rd, 2021 7:42 am
OUR HEARTS ARE HAPPY! OUR SWEET MAGIC HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Magic has spent at least the last 4 years living between Ruston Rehab and Nursing and a house on Hwy 80. Due to her survival instincts we named her Magic. A lot of people, including us, have tried to catch her over the years and finally managed to pull that off when she had her last bunch of puppies. We were not letting them, or her, freeze to death!
It has been amazing to see her transform into the wonderful confident dog she is now. She, Punkin, and Gus are best friends and she seems to prefer life inside.

Magic is in great health! She has been spayed, is up to ate on shots, and is now HW negative and ready for her new home. While we will miss her, we want her to have her own family!

If interested in adopting or fostering, please fill out one of our forms or message us for more details.
Layla - The Results Of Fostering

ADOPTED !!

This sweetheart is my Layla. I personally fostered her for over a year. She was treated and loved just like one of my own personal dogs which means she slept in my bed and had to endure Christmas PJs along with the rest of the crew! She was passed over many times for various reasons and I thought she would never be adopted! I was OK with that but I knew she deserved more attention than I could give her. Thanks to a rescue friend, her day finally came and I drove her to Longview to meet her new mommy on a foster to adopt basis and then I cried all the way home!! Her new mom said it will be over her dead body that I will get her back and she absolutely loves her so I know I made the right decision! Fostering is hard but it is also life changing for you and the animal you are saving. Look at these pictures and tell me it isn't. Consider being a foster parent today!
